Jayakrishna Chintanaboina, MD, MPH
Dr. Chintanaboina is board certified in gastroenterology and internal medicine. He has additional specialized training in advanced endoscopy. He is an Associate Clinical Professor of medicine (volunteer) at University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). He served as Director of Endoscopy and Associate Program director at UCSF Fresno Gastroenterology Fellowship training program before joining private practice, California Digestive Disease Center, in July 2023.
Dr. Chintanaboina has a special interest in screening colonoscopy, large polyp removal, acid reflux and swallowing disorders. With additional training in advanced endoscopy, he performs various interventional endoscopy procedures. He presented his research work at several national conferences and has been published in major medical journals in the field of gastroenterology.
Dr. Chintanaboina always strives to balance his personal and professional life. When he is not at work, he likes to travel and watch movies with his family.
